¤  The Bombay Flying Club is the Government recognized institute in the western India imparting the “Aircraft Maintenance Engineering” course.

¤  The entire training course is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India

¤  The 3 years of consolidated training program of highest skills and professionalism includes both theoretical and practical training of Aircraft Maintenance.

¤  The practical training consists of LINES and MAJOR maintenance of Aircraft and its accessories before and after the flying.

¤  Subsequent to the completion of first year of training one becomes entitled to appear for the DGCA examinations to acquire licence to certify aircraft for flying.

¤  An aircraft can be released for flying only after being certified by a suitably qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

¤  The training course enables individual to obtain licence in Airframe (Category-A) and Engine ( category C ) stream.

 

¤  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Minimum qualification of 10+2 with 50% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics or

Diploma Certified recognised by AICTE or any certificate acceptable to D.G.C.A. as equivalent Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum 50% marks of and 3 years course.

No physical disability certificate from a doctor who should be atleast M.B.B.S. and Colour vision certificate from an ophthalmologist or by an approved Eye hospital.
