Bombay Flying Club, A.M.E Training  Institute is approved by DGCA to train students in light  Aircraft (L.A), Heavy Aircraft (H.A), Piston Engine (PE), Turbine Engine (CT), And Instrument, Electrical and Radio (AVIONICS).

Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are licensed Engineers. Director General Of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Government of India issues the license after the candidate passes AME license examination.

All candidate initially need to pass the  basic AME license examination. (i.e. Papers 1,2 & 3). For Avionics Engineering students Paper 3 will consist of Aircraft Electrical, Instrument & Radio Engineering System. Subsequently, he/she can appear for type rating after acquiring requisite experience on specific aircraft.       

We are having high standard of teaching as practical training facility with our own workshop, aero planes and navigation, electrical and instrument lab for avionics training and other top quality facility.

Students are required to pass the semester exams of this Institute to be appear for Basic license Exam. After  completion of the three year course, the Institute issues a Certificate of Training.

¤  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Minimum qualification of 10+2 with 50% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics or

Diploma Certified recognised by AICTE or any certificate acceptable to D.G.C.A. as equivalent Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum 50% marks of and 3 years course.

No physical disability certificate from a doctor who should be atleast M.B.B.S. and Colour vision certificate from an ophthalmologist or by an approved Eye hospital.
