¤  STUDENTS PILOT’S LICENCE (SPL)

SPL is a prerequisite for obtaining Private Pilot’s Licence and Commercial Pilot’s Licence. No flight experience is required to obtain SPL. The candidate must be at least 16 years old at the time of issue of his/her student Pilot’s Licence with a minimum qualification of 10th Standard.

 

¤  PRIVATE PILOT’S LICENCE

The PPL training curse is offered to the person who wants to become a Licence Pilot in preparation for an advanced training programme for business transportation or wants to experience the unlimited freedom and the romance of flying.

The course offers flight training right from abinitio level to Private Pilot’s Licence. The 4 to 6 months of course gives you 60 hours of flying time.

Completion of this programme, licence a person to become or act as a Pilot in command of a single engine aircraft carrying passengers or cargo but not for the hire, reward or remuneration.

 

¤  COMMERCIAL PILOT’S LICENCE

This course offers 250 hours of flying. An 18 months course takes dual/ solo, General flying and circuit landing sorties. Instruments and cross country flights, skill tests, route checks and night flying rating. The candidate must be 18 years old and at the time of issue of his/her licence Commercial Pilot’s Licence with a minimum qualification of 10+2 ( Physics and Maths).

A commercial Pilot’s licence holder can act as a Pilot in Command of any aircraft entered on his/her licence. This licence issued is valid internationally. He/She can be employed as pilot in Government and civil airlines or in private airlines companies and has a wide variety of career opportunity.

 

¤  INSTRUMENT RATING COURSE

This course offers 40 hours of instruments flight time of which 20 hours can be done on a synthetic Flight Raining (Simulator). This course provides skills necessary to flying in Instruments Metrology conditions or in the clouds. It equips a pilot with precision flying skills in an increasingly complex air traffic system and in case of unavoidable severe weather conditions. To obtain Instruments Rating the candidate must be a holder of either PLL or CPL.

 

¤  ASSISTANCE FLIGHT INSTRUCTION LICENCE

This course offers 10 hours of flying training as an Instructor under an DGCA approved Flight Instructor. The course will cover various sessions of instructions and the advanced teaching methodologies combined with real flight instructions. To obtain AFI licence the candidate must be a holder of CPL.
